ORIGEN OF THIS PRACTICE
Katarina’s experience have been developed through Intensive YOGA Guided Training with renowned Yogi’s:
> Ashtanga Yoga Mysore & Vinyasa – intensive 9 years training
> Bikram Yoga Training – 12 years intensive training
> Hatha Yoga & Yin Yoga – 7 years intensive training

Katarina’s journey towards yoga teaching began with her passion for dance and gymnastics. Her first connection to the body’s abilities was routed from her experience as professional gymnast in Slovakia.
In 2003 Katarina located to Sydney to peruse her dreams, where she studied art of drawing and trained as a dancer for Sydney Dance Company.
After 4 years she continued to develop her teachings towards yoga practice.
Katarina’s classes are routed from training yoga combining flow, breathing, and meditation connected to sequence of posture, which are a series in flow motion with cardio focus, as well as stretching with breathing throughout the whole practice.
In essence Katarina’s classes are a system of classical Hatja-Raja yoga where the base of it is Asana and Pranayama. Her practice is usually connected with the straining and relaxing of particular muscle groups and with the two phases of breath: inhalation and exhalation.
Katarina’s teaching starts with a quick centring meditation and the whole practice then runs in flow of postures with focus on breathing taking the practitioner further with internal release towards the end. Classes are performed with music at times aiming to slightly adapt the practice to meet the needs of the students. During her classes Katarina also teaches understanding of inner peace and strength within, through breathing and inner release, using the unity and struggle of contradictions.
She is also a trained Reiki healer, working with crystals and sound therapy within meditations.
Katarina believes in the incredible power of the body, that finding the awareness of the body brings peace and consciousness to the mind. She finds joy in helping and watching students going through their journey, encouraging them to find the connection with their body and their inner self through breath and grace, and to be present in every moment of their practice, both on and off the mat.

Classes can be held weekly, monthly or annually, in person or online, depending on your needs.
